Volunteers needed...
Can you
pass out flyers or work a table at the community events you attend? Can
you organize a fundraiser? Or would you like to become a reporter,
engineer or producer for Ithaca Community Radio produced shows? Do you
have any ideas for interesting radio programming?
Our
list of needs is evolving. We're currently in need of:
- a logo
- graphic designers for web development, brochure design,
bumper sticker design, etc.
- photographers
- recording engineers (or people interested in learning)
- people to table at events
- music for use by Ithaca Community Radio Productions -
either already
recorded or
just composed (we can record it) - we're mostly interested in short
instrumental pieces, but we also like things with lyrics that fit with
the adjacent stories
- people interested in recording,
editing, or otherwise working on stories (we
can train you and you'll be working with others)
- people to write, record and edit 30-second fundraising
messages to play over the radio
- radio engineers
- fundraisers
- people with grant-writing experience
- space to set up a studio for recording and editing
- people who care about the care and feeding of our democracy
Please
get in touch or come to our next meeting.
The
last public meeting was on Jan 10, 2006 at the Tompkins County Public
Library's BorgWarner Room.
The
next meeting should be sometime in early-mid February.
Please contact
us or visit again for details.
