How can I get involved? How can I help?

There are several ways you can help the Ithaca Community Radio Project.  The success of our community's radio station depends on people becoming involved.

By making a financial contribution you will support ICR's immediate need for funding short and long-term projects, which include covering current operating costs, and the cost of licenses and facilities for originating future programming. We do not receive any financial support from WEOS nor do we receive funds from any of the on-air underwriters.  All of our operating expenses are paid for by listener donations.

OR

Perhaps you have radio experience, knowledge or just plain interest . . . we welcome any sort of help you can give, even if your skills do not seem to be ''directly'' related to radio -- our needs are varied.

OR

Perhaps you have an interest or want to learn how to "make radio." If so, get involved and learn how to do it. You'll have fun and get to meet and work with some of your interesting neighbors.

WE APPRECIATE DONATIONS IN ANY AMOUNT

Donations to Ithaca Community Radio as of January 1, 2006 are tax deductible (under 501c3 status).  We are using the Council of Community Services of New York State (CCSNYS) as our interim fiscal agent, while we await completion of our own 501c3 status from the IRS. At this time, only checks, money orders, or cash contributions are tax deductible, and must be made out to CCSNYS, with ICR in the memo line, or vice versa.  Unfortunately, PayPal is not tax-deductible at this time.  We regret any inconvenience, and we anticipate being able to receive PayPal contributions under tax deductible status in the near future.
