WRFI News

Dec
We hold our first ever on-air fundraiser. Many volunteers are actively involved in our operations, and new, locally produced shows are being developed and broadcast.

Late Summer 2012
We now have a few locally produced shows and look forward to having more. If you've an idea for a radio show, please get in touch with us. We have also been making plans for our first on-air fundraiser.

Summer 2012
This summer we're focusing on raising funds, getting locally produced shows off the ground, and connectiong with our community to better understand what our listeners want to hear on their airwaves.

Aug 2010
The Water Street Songwriters held a Benefit Concert for us at The Rongovian Embassy in T'burg on Aug 29th. It was great fun for all and wonderful to meet some of our listeners and supporters. Here's the concert poster.

July/Aug 2010
We had several successful workshops for community members interested in learning radio production. As more people learn, more people can help make their airwaves reflect their community!

2009 was a great year for Ithaca Community Radio, but we're planning to make 2010 even better. We've got big changes up ahead, so stay tuned. And as always, many thanks to the Finger Lakes community for your generous support. We couldn't do it without you!

What's happening

Facebook users can get updates, give us feedback, and also comment, but our blog is more accomodating of longer form discussions and dialogue.
